Repository Structure

Where everything lives in the TruthID monorepo, and what's core product versus internal tooling.

TruthID is one monorepo. This page maps the top level for anyone browsing the source or deciding where to look for something.

PathWhat's there
contracts/The six Solidity contracts (Foundry) — see Smart Contracts. The source of truth every other piece reads from.
desktop/The desktop app (Tauri + Rust + React) — see Desktop.
mobile/The mobile app (Flutter) — see Mobile.
extension/The browser extension (WXT) — see Browser Extension.
sdk/The four integration SDKs (TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Dart) — see SDK Reference. What third-party developers actually install.
site/This documentation site and the project's account/billing site — site/backend (Rails) and site/frontend (Next.js/Fumadocs, where content/docs/ is what you're reading now).
integration/End-to-end tests (TypeScript + viem, against a local Anvil chain) exercising identity → device → login → recovery flows across the whole stack. Internal test tooling, not something you install.

About the legacy docs/ directory

The repository root also still contains a docs/ directory — an older Docusaurus site that this documentation (Fumadocs, under site/frontend/content/docs/) has fully replaced. It's no longer built or deployed; the GitHub Pages deployment now builds exclusively from site/frontend. The directory is left in place in the repository deliberately, to be removed once it has no remaining use — not because the migration is incomplete.
